1930s Premium Wrap Coat - Mosswood
Feel like a 1930s movie star in the brightest light of our new collection 'The Long Afternoon'- this premium 1930s inspired coat is a divine dream and will be your best investment for years to come.
We've been desperate to create a 1930s coat for years and this season our desires came to fruition. 1930s tailoring has, in our opinion, never been bettered.. the flattering length, super stylish features and supremely feminine silhouette. We expect you to turn all heads whilst strutting your stuff in this beauty.
Wrap styles were common in the early to mid 1930s when the close throat neckline was popular. However, it looks equally smart when worn open to show off the scarf or blouse beneath. Coat fastens via the belt and has button just below for extra security. Sleeves as moderately full then softly pleat into the expanded cuffs - creating a subtle mutton sleeve style. Strong shoulders created by the twin shoulder pads for a strong shape.
Twin handy pockets perfect for loose change and lastly, close rows of top stitching along the collar, pocket and belt give additional interest to the style features.
Designed with simple smart lines and just enough trimming to set off the richness of the fabric.
Fabric is 100% wool bought from a British supplier - in a rich brown. Fully lined.
Key features:-
- full sleeves
- fully lined
- 2 pockets
- 2 buttons & belt
- top stitching details
Length of coat from back of neck to hem - approx 120cm
Fabric: Outer is 100% wool
Lining: 100% acetate
Proudly made with love in Yorkshire
